Something new is coming Spotlight's way...

I just finished my html lesson and now, I know how to make a website!

This week, I tried something new. And by new, I mean out-of-this-world new...literally!
'Cause this week's story is about a shapeshifting alien stuck on Earth's deadliest place...
Showbusiness!
But hey, you'll be seeing this story for a loooong time since it has a lot of parts!
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this week's story!

Wanted: Alien Superstar!

Planet Xanthip is home to millions of vicious, shapeshifting aliens. Xhip, a xanthipian, is on a mission to spy on planet Earth.So Xhip blasted off to Earth. He landed on a farm just miles away from the city. There, he prepared for his mission.

Meanwhile, Stanley Smith, a very,VERY famous Earth actor is facing a crisis. He's been facing the limelight for too long and wants to have a vacation. However, he has too many too many projects and is forced to stay at work.
But soon Stanley could face it no longer.
He snuck out of the country and went to a vacation on his own.

Back to Xhip...
Xhip has been observing humans for two days now. Because of his high I.Q, he was able to memorize everything about how a human lives.
The only problem is that he can,t understand the human language. Plus, he needs a disguise.
Of course, he can't walk around in his alien form. He needs to blend in somehow.

And that's when he'll use his shapeshifting abilities. That night, he snuck into the city streets and looked for a good face to imitate. Then, he saw a billboard of Stanley Smith.

So in the middle of that night, he transformed into Stanley and imitated the way he moves. That's when problems start to arise. In the morning, Xhip walked the streets freely... Which is something a superstar would never do.
Then a huge crowd started to swarm around him. "Did they recognize me?" "Do they know that I'm an alien?"

AAAAGGGHHH!!!

"The Last Wish: The Secret Epilogue"

"Mom!" Johnny happily shouted as he hugged his newly recovered mother.
Yes, Johnny's mother was cured of her sickness because of Dianne's magic. Johnny was also sent back to school and was able to keep up with the lessons he missed. Everything turned out for the best... except for Dianne.
Dianne broke the rules of magic and was stripped off of her fairyhood. She was banished by the head fairy because of her actions.

At least she was able to do good for somebody before this happened.
She cured Johnny's mother and saved Johnny's education.

But... why did the clouds turn gray at the end of the story?
It's because the heavens cry for the poor fairy who really just did the best for her "person"...

The Last Wish

It is believed that people have personal fairy guardians who secretly protects us and gives us what we wish for. This story is about that.This story is about Dianne,a fairy who is being transfered form one person to another. She's an excellent fairy who never had problems regarding her "person". That is, until she was transfered to a little boy named Johnny. Here is how it goes...

Dianne has been observing Johnny for about a week now. She's been observing how he lives his life, so she can start her job. A day after that, she started.

-A MONTH LATER-
Dianne has been protecting Johnny for about a month now(secretly) and she has memorized everything about how Johnny lives. Nothing bad has happened so far... until Johnny's mother became terribly sick. Johnny's family had to buy her medicine(extremely expensive medicine), so Johnny had to drop from school. The family was in a dilemma.

Of course, Dianne can fix all of this with just a wave of her wand, but then she was (again) being reassigned due to an emergency. She was given only 1 hour to prepare for it.
Worrying about Johnny's condition, she begged their leader for more time.
The leader agreed. He extended it to 3 hours, but limited her power to only one wish.
"With that kind of power, you can only grant one wish... choose wisely",the leader said.

So she flew back to Johnny before her 3 hours expired.
She secretly poured some magic powder on Johnny. The powder allowed Dianne to read Johnny's mind so she can know his wish.
"I wish my mom would be cured. I know she's dying. I want her to live."

She was about to grant Johnny's wish when she remembered Johnny's mom.
"I wonder what her wish is."

So Dianne flew to the hospital and sprinkled the same powder on the mother.
"I wish my Johnny would never get sick and he'd be succesful in the future. I know I'm dying. I don't care. I wish this would all come true..."

In an instant, Dianne herself was in a dilemma. "Whose wish should I grant?."
She stared at the mother and saw her suffering. She flew back to Johnny and saw him agonizing for his mother.
"I have only 3 hours to choose. I should choose wisely."
She stared at the blue sky and wept for the first time."Why must it be this way?"
Then, she flew even higher and waved her wand.
I'm gonna break the rules of magic, itself.
I'm gonna grant... MY OWN WISH!!!

In that moment, the clouds turned dark and it started to rain.
The world has never been more peaceful, the time after that.

Welcome again to Spotlight!
Hey! This is the first time I've ever put a non-fictional story.
So get ready to be scared by my own story: "The Star"

"The Star"

This story is a special one 'cause it's not fictional like the ones I used to make...
I know all of you have seen or felt the presence of ghosts. This is the story of the first time I ever seen an actual one.

Our project in English is about making a documentary film about our previous lessons and the topic we chose is FEAR. We made a documentary about people's fear and how to overcome it. We started shooting in an old house near my groupmates house. It was so creepy that when it gets dark, you'll want to run out screaming. The house is surrounded by grass and other plants. I was tasked to do the hosting of the film.
But we still had to make creepy decorations to add a little darkness to our project, so we made a Star(the one made of two triangles a.k.a. "The David's Star") on the floor. While doing it, I saw a man wearing white who stepped quickly from the garden. It was like he was sneaking away, afraid of getting seen. I said: This is no joke, but I saw something that's not human. At first I thought I was just imagining it but then my groupmate, Ina said she saw it too. Our descriptions of the man even matched!
Then, while explain it to my other groupmate, Kathy,(who didn't see the man) saw him peek from the other side of the wall!

It was by far the creepiest project we've ever done.

P.S. Other than that, Ina saw a lady walking back and forth behind me while I was taping!!!

Robert Blake: The Sport Victim(final part)

I laid on the floor, unconscious after getting my teammate's "kicks of death". They rushed me to the clinic and gave me first aid. It took me two days to regain my strength. After that, I was healthy again. I resumed with my plan. I snuck out of the training camp and to the party. "I did it!", I said to myself as Nick and Dan welcomed me inside.There, I enjoyed myself. I ate, met some pretty girls, sang a few songs... you know, the usual. That was the happiest moment of my life... until the cops showed up.

They crashed through the party without permission and looked for me. "We're looking for a man named Robert Blake". The other guests all pointed me as if I did something wrong. The cops grabbed me and took me back to the training camp.

My punishment? They still let me represent my country for Tae Kwon Do. Bad news is, i'd get a LOT more "kicks of death"!!!
Plus 20 years of imprisonment... in the Philippines.

Well, I guess I deserve it...
I lied to the whole country just for a stupid party.
My only request is..."Send me back to my country!!!"

Robert Blake: the sport victim (part 2)

Tae Kwon Do... it's the sport with rackets... right? Well whatever it is, I have no idea about it... but I still pursued! Weird enough, I was accepted as the representative of my country. They said the other representatives met a truck accident on their way to practice. They couldn't find a substitute and the event is next week... so they accepted me. I'm still giggling 'cause I can't believe that they believed me when I said that I'm a Tae Kwon Do black belter!(laughs). Oh, yeah so...
A few days later, they sent me to the Philippines for the games. But of course I don't actually have a plan on joining it. When I get there, I'm gonna run away and join my friends in the party. Well, that was my plan until my boastful "teammate" challenged me to a Tae Kwon Do fight. I couldn't say no 'cause he'll discover that I'm a fake... so I fought him...and got the worst beating of my life!

Robert Blake: The Sport Victim

Hey! My name's Robert Blake and I'm here to share with you a little story from my life. I work in an office and get pay that's just enough for supporting my own needs and for my vice: drinking. Yup, I don't have a family yet, so I spend my nights drinking liquor. My life's a bit boring, but I have my friends Nck and dan to brighten things a little. But one time, they made it too bright for me too see...

They invited me to a huge party abroad. During those times, I still had my savings, so I accepted their invitation. I asked where the party's gonna be and they answered: Philippines

I was excited to go but then... I got fired. My boss caught me drinking in the office one time. I was devastated. I spent all my savings 'cause I don't have money anymore. I tried to cancel the invitation, but everything was ready. I had to do something!

That's when I learned that the next ASIAN games is gonna be held in the Philippines. As far as I know, competitors of this event will be sent to the Phillipines. That's when I had a brilliant idea.
I'll join the event! I'll be the country's Tae Kwon Do representative.

Only problem... What exactly is Tae Kwon Do?
