Hello there! Welcome again to Spotlight Stories!
I recently made an announcement that there will be no new story this week, but I decided to make one anyway. The new story is entitled "La Desperada" which is originally a play I wrote for my classmates and I to perform. There I gave you a brief summary of it. I hope you enjoy it!

La Desperada

There's a very rich lady named Madame Peñafuerte who owns a huge mansion. She serves as the main character in this story. She owns a huge mansion where she lives with her maid, Katherine or Kathy. Kathy has spent her days passing secret love letters to her secret boyfriend, Brendan. One day, the madame accidentally received one of the letters and read it. She immediately becomes hysterical, thinking she has a "secret admirer". She hires a guy named Allan to investigate who the person is and discovers Brendan. The unlucky boy, who clearly doesn't like the madame, is immediately loved by her. A sort-of love triangle is formed. The madame began underestimating Kathy because of this, forcing them to fight. Kathy reveals her secret relationship with Brendan and shocks the madame. She gets angry and calls Allan to kill Kathy. Brendan saves her and the bullet hits the madame who dies on the spot. Confused, Allan shoots Brendan's leg and runs away. A few years later, Brendan and Kathy prepares to get married.
